Lourdes will gather 80 million people in a great virtual pilgrimage

This Friday Lourdes will launch a worldwide virtual pilgrimage to which you can participate without leaving your home. Last year 80 million people connected.

The French sanctuary convenes it for the second consecutive year and coincides with the anniversary of the last apparition of the Virgin.

The sanctuary’s website will offer activities from seven in the morning until eleven at night. They range from rosaries in various languages, country masses, Marian prayers and the candlelight procession.

Those who wish to participate can connect at any time of the day. They will be able to pray, make offerings, light candles and send intentions for Masses.

Among those who announced their presence in the grotto is President Emmanuel Macron, who will be in the area and this Friday will go to the sanctuary.
